Today...

Well, today, my dad woke me up at 7 o'clock in the morning. And since I'm homeschooled I have no idea why. I was really tired because I didn't go to sleep until 5:30. So I went back to sleep and woke up at 10, which was really hard. I just chilled on SportsHouse talking to people and looking at 'chises. Then me and my dad went into the city and went to the VA to see my grandpa who had surgery yesterday. They had to unblock a major artery in his leg. And he's doing fine. He got up and walked today, so he'll be home soon. Probably at the end of the week. Man I hate hospitals. So many sick people, and I don'tlike seeing that at all. I havent' had good experiences at hospitals. My dad was in the hospital for like a month and a half. He was a sleep for like 3 weeks of it. He even missed his birthday, and then the other 2 weeks he was in rehab. So that's one of the reasons I hate hospitals. They just aren't fun.
But other than that, I had a pretty good day. The Lakers won, I don't like them, but I bet my 10 cents on Centsports on them to win. And I won. I also don't like Kobe at all, but he's just one of those players that no matter how much you don't like him, you just have to sit back and enjoy the way he plays. He really is amazing. He had a much better game today than the 4 other games he's played the Celts this season. I wasn't able to watch the whole game but I saw the last quarter and he made some amazing plays. I still tihnk the C's are gonna whoop the Lakers though. They'll win in 6, maybe even 5.
Switching over to my favorite sport. The Dodgers are currently playing the Padres. It's the 7th inning and we're down 2-1 with a runner on second. It was a great pitching matchup. Clayton Kershaw the young phenom and Greg "Maddog" Maddux. Kershaw is the top pitching prospect this year, and Maddux is one of the greatest pitchers of all time. So it's nice to see that kind of matchup.
I haven't been able to play MLB 2K8 today, which I think is my favorite game. It's really a good game with a good set of sliders which I have. I have a Braves 'chise I just started, and I want to play a game or two tonight. Gotta defend my Chise of the Month title. I also have NBA 2K8 which I'm borrowing from my cousin until I go out and buy it. Starting a league with guys on SportsHouse, should be fun. I'm pretty good, I think, but I don't know how good the other guys in the league are. I'm hoping I can do pretty good in the league. Can't wait for it to start.

Also, the Dodgers have the bases loaded at the moment with one out. Pads just brought in Cla Meredith and Jeff Kent is up. I think the best hitting second baseman of all time.

Baseball

Baseball is my favorite sport. I'm a die-hard Dodger fan and have liked them my whole life. My second favorite team is the Cubbies as I was born in ChiTown. Alex Rodriguez is my favorite player, he's been my favorite since I saw him play against the Angels one game when he was still on the Mariners. He wore my favorite number and played my favorite position, and he also hit 2 homeruns that game. But I like a lot of young guys as well. I really like Ryan Braun and Ian Kinsler. And Hanley Ramirez is amazing as well.
I was really excited about the past draft. Tim Beckham looks like a great player and seems that he can be the next Hanley. Gordon Beckham looks real good as well. My favorite school is Miami though, and I was mad when the A's took Jemile Weeks at 12. I was hoping he could last to 15 and go to the Dodgers. But we got a 3B/P who looks pretty good.
I really wish that Rafael Furcal would hurry up and come back, we're struggling and we really need him. He was off to a great start and was leading the Dodgers, they had so much momentum and were playing so well. But now they're playing like crap. Luckily the DBacks cooled off so we're not out of it.
